The Hind House by John Pardey Architects
This house sits on the banks of the river Loddon, near Wargrave. The concept was based on three elements; living, guest and bedroom spaces, to create ‘wings’ that adopt a pinwheel form, raised up on columns to deal with flooding from the river. A dark, zinc-clad wing is pushed forward to receive an entrance staircase that slices up into an open timber lined hood, with a glazed room to the side containing a guest suite and gym. The stair arrives onto a balcony and entrance – a central hall space – this is the day room, dedicated to outdoor living that leads out onto a large deck. Following the zigzag of the pinwheel, a staircase then leads down to a garden deck, with boardwalk that arrives at a landing stage on the river’s edge. The house is steel framed, with timber stud infill; cedar and zinc-clad, with aluminum framed windows and single-ply roofing. I Love the house, but I don't know how I feel about using rainboots to get in and out of my home. ;-)

The Flow Chair by Jennifer Tran
The Flow Chair was born from extensive form exploration, trial and error, and pure chance. Using a simple technique of heating plastic to a malleable state and then quickly free forming it by hand, dozens of form studies were created, each evolving slowly into a more dynamic and functional form. Beginning with molding arbitrary shapes from a flat, rectangular piece of plastic, the ongoing experimentation became informed through growing familiarity with the product. The milled surface textures of evenly spaced grooves add bold and graphic definition to the undulating, organic shape. The chair is made from 3form’s Varia Ecoresin, composed of at least 40% post-industrial recycled material. By utilizing 3form’s diverse material choices, the chair’s appearance is emboldened by contrasting surface finishes and textile laminations. I NEED THIS CHAIR!!! IT IS SICK!!!

OMG!!!!! Ferrari F430 Calavera by Unique Sportscars & Novitec Rosso
A joint effort by a company called Unique Sportscars and the Novitec Rosso tuning house collaborated to make this unique F430.The Calavera is characterized by a unique tattoo-style paint job by airbrush artist Knud Tiroch. From there, Novitec has given the F430 its full workover, complete with twin superchargers to deliver 707 horsepower – more than Novitec's own 656hp F430 Evoluzione, and about par with its TuNero version – plus the requisite 20" wheels and an adjustable suspension. Unique and Novitec have also modified the interior and added a strip of daytime running lights along the front splitter, integrating into the Novitec body kit. All the mods help the custom exotic hit sixty in 3.5 seconds en route to a claimed top speed of 216 mph. Unique Sportscars says they'll only build 11 examples, and with no accounting for taste, it's anyone's guess whether they'll sell that many. I F**king Love This Car!!!!!!
